This was probably the most helpful article I've read yet. It pertains directly to the field I'm getting into- web design! The article explains what you need to keep in mind when making a portfolio [which is almost mandatory to get a job in this particular field] and what to do or not do.

He also states that it's a very influential process and inspiration is necessary to get a good thing going. The main point is that the criteria a web designer needs to meet is similar to that of a fashion designer.

While this wasn't directly an article, this is a helpful site explaining the basics of deprecated HTML. The author shows a breif list of some tags that have been replaced. CSS is also touched upon here. This site is worth the bookmark if you ever need to refer to a quick list of new/old tags.

This article was about phones & wireless devices and web design. The author touched on basic principles of things to do and not do when creating a page thats easy to view on these devices. I found this article interesting and helpful; I learned a few things pertaining to the capabilities of the display. Some things mentioned include navigation placement, image sizing, and testing on different types of phones. Definitely an article to keep in mind when coding for these devices.
